It’s better than p30
Giving up a lot of stuff compared to the Galaxy S20 which is in a similar size to this, you wont have wireless charging, expandable storage in MicroSD, Google Services and stereo speakers.
Does P40 support mhl?
Good phone. Google apps is not a problem. Clone everything from the old phone. The rest through the developers pages or app search will take you there. For netflix and games i dont know.
Very good screen and camera.
Its a bit heavy and the cameras are nice but large/thick
On mine vibration dont work ok. Looks like hardver isue. because when I tap phone than work some time (minut or two) than stop again. On a new phone. I give my trast to huawei and never again.

Hi. I’m looking for a 4k video quality smart phone. I’ve choose 2 smartphone which is Huawei p40 and Samsung s10 , which is better for a very good quality video recording.

Owned it. Verdict? Crippled phone can’t play latest google games, can’t
backup LINE chat etc from your old phone because P40 no google, no
arrows or buttons very confusing. I’d say a bit regretting for a
powerful phone and to top that Huawei login used my phone and sms but
still needed me to authenticate my password (obviously forgot hence I
used sms login) then refused to let me sign up. ALl in all? Huawei…

My Huawei P40 pro has been a total disaster. Sure the camera, QR scan, etc are fast. But it’s a crippled phone in vegetative state.I can’t GRAB or GOJEK in singapore. It’s using google. Can’t backup my whatsapp, line chats, using google. Can’t use google map. I can’t use instagram, youtube, etc because the APK version can’t multi select photos. Latest games and any complex games like Genshin Impact, etc none can use. Only most simple China games.
What’s worse I went to repair my unused Huawei since it can google, they quoted me 3 parts damage at a whooping price. Seriously no thanks for me for Huawei.
Use APKPURE for finding apps not available in the app gallery and use Petal Maps for Google maps alternative and YouTube Vanced for YouTube Alternative. Games and Spotify and more are all available in APKPURE use this app store alternative until HarmonyOS comes and app gallery has all the apps. Huawei is excellent and I’m using Huawei Mediapad M6 and also Huawei P40. I’m living life without Google as a gamer and as a person who is actively addicted to social media. Give it a try.
