What does launch pad do?
Will we ever get a good image viewer for intance ‘irfan view’ ? It’s alright adding all these new features when back to basics computing is still easier on Windows !
Apple Please check Microsoft Windows how works well when you work with many windows.…
Using the superior cameras on iPhone attached to the laptop is a clever idea but ideally, we should be able to use a good camera included in the MacBook itself. Seems a strange workaround solution to the problem of not good enough cameras on MacBooks!
Failure Google correctly location current places rong detected misleading information from internet connection gateway agent almost criminals.
I personal think the Stage Manager is useless and just taking up space. Definitely will be the first thing I make sure to keep it turn off after installed Ventura.
I’m so happy you showed that the phone kept working as a webcam after you removed it from the laptop. I’ve been wondering this ever since I saw the demo in the keynote. Now I just wonder how far from the laptop you can take the phone before or stops working🤔
i like this
Mehhh
continuity camera seems more like an iphone feature but ok
Can I record video on my Mac while using continuity camera? Essentially to make YouTube videos.
My phone isn’t showing up to be able to choose it for the FaceTime calls. I have both the public beta on my phone and Mac. Any advice?
Ventura — already a massive FAIL. Instead of simply improving the camera on the MacBooks / iMacs — nooooo. apple makes you rig up some slap dash beta, download patch, works most of the time ‘fix’ to allow your iPhone camera to ‘work’ with your mac. Face Palm. Apple is no better than facebook / meta anymore — always a disappointment. Will stick with monterey for now.
I quit watching once he was going to spend 5 mins on the phone camera alone.
So this greedy company rather than improving their webcam on laptops they want people to use stupid phone as camera for better videos? And all the Apple sheeps will run for it and this comes from a guy with M1 first version laptop with 780p webcam.
Too bad I’m not a Mac-er
Why does it bug me that people (even Craig from Apple) put the phone mount in the middle of the screen so the cameras are off to the side of centre? Anyone else, or just me?
Deskview is a nightmare for students .😂😂
Stage Manager and the dock at the same time is not a confusing issue. First it not like the stacks of windows on the left would just appear for no reason. The user is going to understand what going on as soon as they use this function. People get that the dock are for apps and on the left are basically windows to the running apps. I have a hard time seeing users getting confused over this.
Why is this a major version? I found none of these features interesting.
meh. Skipping this one.
