As soon as I heard Martha Kelly’s voice come out of Car­ol, I instant­ly got excit­ed. I loved her in Bas­kets, so the fact that she’s now the star of an adult ani­mat­ed series is beyond incred­i­ble. Can’t wait to binge this one!

I thought this was a Cathie Bates show. Bummed. Still going to watch.

7 months of in-uni­verse time = 4 or 5 sea­sons of the show for us?

We’ve seen what human­i­ty does in a cri­sis, it is not mov­ing philo­soph­ic intro­spec­tion or thought pro­vok­ing reflec­tion of the nature of human­i­ty and soci­ety. Human­i­ty don’t go full mad max or throw a glob­al zero Fs giv­en par­ty like we all expect­ed. Instead they hoard toi­let paper and bot­tled water, spi­ral into mad­ness, drink, make bread, what’s a YouTube safe way of say­ing this …make babies?, and flit between play­ing Ani­mal Cross­ing and Doom for that cathar­tic-cosy life balance.

Hon­est­ly this style of show couldn’t come at a bet­ter time, a lot of us still feel lost cause of the time we had lost due to COVID etc, but it hon­est­ly has a lot of promise.

I love how this looks and the premise, and an old­er (seem­ing­ly unmar­ried and child­less) woman MC!! Awesome!

I can’t wait for Net­flix to can­cel this …

i just know that i’m going to cry so hard while watch­ing this . as some­one with fre­quent exis­ten­tial crises and death anx­i­ety i lit­er­al­ly teared up while just watch­ing the trail­er . actu­al­ly so excit­ed for this

This looks absolute­ly ter­ri­ble! The char­ac­ter designs look hideous, the voice act­ing is wood­en, it’s not remote­ly fun­ny, and every­one just has this “eh, what­ev­er” reac­tion to the world about to be destroyed?! Net­flix, you’re not doing your­selves any favors mak­ing shows like this instead of con­tin­u­ing shows like Dark Crys­tal: Age Of Resistance -.-

This looks ter­ri­ble, the lady in the begin­ning looks like a worm
