I’m sorry, but that looks WAY better than anything else out there..
worth every dollar. trust me you havn’t experienced productivity on a tablet until you start using a windows tablet. cant wait for my slate to get win8 release
1
Looking forward to Win8. My XP Tablet is nearly 10 years old!
whats the name of the tablet?
wow
There were tablets back in 2000? wow.
Yep, 2001 and onwards. The one I have was a lot of fun. It’s about the size of an iPad, but quite a bit thicker. It has, wifi, bluetooth, ethernet, modem, 2xUSB, a camera that swivels to front and rear for both webcam and snapshot/video usage. I have the 8 hour battery, but now it doesn’t hold a charge now. It has a case that flips open like the Surface Pro to reveal a keyboard. The Surface will finally replace this old tablet for me… can’t wait
Show me.
Will do, I’ve pulled it out, dusted it off and I’ll do a video tomorrow (1am here now)
Picture is enough, or even a name.
I was quite keen to video it anyway, just for my memorys, so you’re going to have to suffer through it 🙂 Go to my videos page and it’ll be there. I also got the battery life wrong.. it was 8 hours for both batteries, 5 for one, 3 for the other. Now it’s zero though.
Metro LOOKS beautiful on everything, tablet, pc, whatever, but its just not functional on a PC.
Muito grande para mim 🙁
shut up and take my money!
Windows 8 on a tablet is really really good.
Windows Phone is a great phone interface — I’ve been using 7.5 for a few weeks now.
Apple has strong hardware integrated with their silly OS. If Microsoft can make Hardware Manufacturers have hardware as polished and strong as Apples’, but with greater power and a better OS like windows, there’s no stopping the success Microsoft can achieve — Especially if it makes its’ own awesome hardware.
windows 8 isnt that good on pc
but one day pc will be obsolete
and at that age supertablets will start to take over
I wish all Windows 8 app stores are unified, meaning Windows 8 (all versions), Windows 8 RT and Windows Phone, that way my money might not go through the toilet…
windows surface pro full windwos 8 on a tablet that runs i7
am, am, am, am, am, am, fuck.…..
how do you connect the windows 8 tablet to a windows 8 desktop?
There should be a sync cable. Although like he said, programs are automatically synced when you have the same account on two devices i.e. much easier.
USB, WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC…
and smartglass, skydrive…ect
i means iv even seen someone managing there other tablets and devices with the surface.
exacly!
It does look good but it freezes up. Just search for windows surface unfailing video. The windows 8 they chose to show the world for the first time froze up on stage!
who the fuck like these spam links?
the store is android o what?
And now here we are in the present with windows 11
