Not a big fan of Amazon key, why not just buy a huge mailbox.
A camera is going to stop unwanted access to my house how?
I respect the idea. Its good in theory, but just too much of a risk to customers. Just look at how often people’s packages get taken from their door. Now just imagine those same thieves just waiting for one of these Amazon deliveries to open the door, so they can rush them, and break into the house, or one of the employees hacks the home security, and robs the house. Not worth the risk.
No more Kinect, that’s krap
I give it 2 weeks before it gets hacked
Amazon keeps announcing one dumb idea after another.
Not a chance in h###
They are trying to think of anything to stop package theifs. I dont know for sure if this idea will take off. Better to just have time scheduled deliverys.. just an option when purchasing an item to select the time period on which you are home and it will be deliver same day as it was going to be.. if its worth more then $10 they shouldnt leave it on the doorstep you should let amazon know what times are the right times
I am black african american, and I need to know Asap how to work in Amazon key in-home thanks. this is my dream jobs.
yea n next thing u know all your stuff is gone
You guys have no idea how difficult for a thief to loot a house! This will bring good economy to the stealing industry
Relax guys their not allowed to enter the house just to drop the packages in the doorway…People don’t need Amazon to rob your house. Thrives target aspecific house for certain thing delivery drivers are random.
Amazon almost at 1 trillion so it’s good to sue them
i can see people having more confindence in this if there’s only 1 or 2 delivery person that can access your house. And their bio is sent to you to view. at least full name and picture.
Or Amazon could have given customers a special bin size container(outside) that weights a few hundred pounds and only unlocks with a key 🔐
Or do what everyone else does give you a specific time when it’s going to be delivered or let the person set the time and date .
What a terrible idea
Nice concept, but we need honest people running the business.
ooooh what time to be alive
as a thief!
Breh… I just bought a Kinect
Amazon one idea after another to see what sticks. Like a network channel busting out one stupid show after another hoping one will stick.
This will be an issue with loose pets. Imagine a dog or cat running outside as soon as the Amazon worker opens the door. What kind of liability would that include?
Working for Amazon delivery was a nightmare
im a amazon prime member and i buy stuff from amazon almost everyday , i don’t like this that the driver can open my door and go inside my house hell NO
Good riddance.
