Katar was meant to be a thrust­ing weapon, to poke into flesh. Its not meant to slice and cut through stuff. Wtf are these peo­ple doing do they even know what a Katar is ?

Why do peo­ple who can’t use a katar test them? Like wtf? It’s like test­ing an F1 car on the Dakar. Utter­ly stu­pid and point­less. This show is a joke

Well katar is used by assas­ins, its not used to slash met­al armors. Its rather used for stab­bing or slash­ing defense­less targets 🤣🤣🤣

So, as the Ryan/second guy, I’ll throw out my per­spec­tive and some insight.

So, Nic used his entire pro­vid­ed piece of steel in the blade of his katar, and added the met­al for the bars. I split mine into the bars and blade which gave Nic a much heav­ier blade, and more iner­tia to car­ry through the pig skin. If it had been bal­lis­tic dum­mies it would have per­formed more favor­ably, but over­all, my katar did­n’t have the blade weight to per­form like a cleaver.
Any­way, I real­ly appre­ci­ate the com­ments I’ve read, it made my night. Nic is a fan­tas­tic guy, and a mar­velous crafts­man and the whole expe­ri­ence was great. Thanks to those with the com­pli­men­ta­ry and con­struc­tive comments!
