I think the Hang­ing Gar­dens were not built for Nebuchadnezzar’s wife, as every oth­er won­der was built for gods or rul­ing kings, not to keep a home­sick per­son hap­py, unless Neb­uchad­nez­zar was the weak­est ruler of all time, and his wife was actu­al­ly the strong one in their rela­tion­ship, and Neb­uchad­nez­zar hid his faults behind his more pow­er­ful and men­tal­ly stronger wife.

But with­out know­ing the ref­er­ences were to Bethu­lia and what it means. You also must know the truth behind the 1st destruc­tion of Jerusalem and who was behind it. It’s a city and it was divid­ed into 3 groups. The aris­toc­ra­cy was not present in the city when it was attacked. Not in any of the assaults against them.
