The Surface Earbuds – back in October, Microsoft announced these tiny PopSocket-looking satellite dish things for your ears. It’s the company’s first attempt at a fully wireless in-ear bud and seven months later they are finally available for an asking price of $200. But in the time they were announced to the time they were released, we have seen a lot happen in the wireless earbud world and the Surface Earbuds come too little, too late.

What features do you look for in earbuds?
wait really? are we reviewing the click sound it makes when the lid closes now?
Great review. I think these surface buds are on my top maybe list. I will take a look at some of your other reviews to make my decision. btw — LOVE the added playlist!
Slack-lining will never be cool
You seemed really bothered by the lack of in-ear detection. I’ve never owned a pair of headphones that cared if I took them off or not. If I want the music to pause, I’ll pause it.
No noise cancellation ? Sheesh
Get your gear in place, how can you call yourself a tech reviewer and dont have a windows 10 device to test. That way you cannot test the unique selling point of the earbuds. It makes this review very incomplete and overall not good
Honestly when I heard you are taking calls on wired apple headphones I said ha ha! But after your sound test! Best microphone and sound quality goes to the wired one. Sorry, I laughed! 🙁 ;)))
you´re not gonna fool us, gordon ramsay
Great review. This is going to sound odd but I really like how with the surface earbuds I can hear my surroundings. Also the gestures are so much better than others.
The one item everyone leaves out is how much better the surface buds are in MS Teams and calls compared to all the other buds.
Fantastic review!
👍👍👍👍👍👍
I feel after this vide everyone went and bought wired apple earphones. I use mine for about 5 years already, they are truly fantastic.
That seems to be the story for Microsoft for a while now. A little too late to the party.
I miss my apple wired earbuds 😆. They were the best earbuds i ever had! Even when listening to an audio book! But i no long have an iphone and yet i still not found the perfect earbuds for me! I need headphones or buds that have good noise cancelation or get loud enough so i can hear my audio book not everything else around me.
I’m late but I agree lol. The apple wired ones were money.
I love the style and I would love to have Surface Buds to go with my Surface Pro
He forgot to mention some features
Microsoft earbuds are the weirdest earbuds. I personally use Google Pixel buds
Truly amazing review.
Wow. What an incredibly stupid thing to complain about. The sound the lid makes when snapping closed. Tech “reviewers” have gotten absolutely ridiculous.
sony xm4 is still the king… 13hr of battery life… dsee extreme ai upscaling, 96khz, near vinyl quality, etc etc. get them on sale and you wont be disappointed
Are you the daughter of Gordon Ramsay
