I think Sam balls house was the old captain's quarters on the island while the holes were dug, cross made , cart road made . Ect.
I think Sam balls house was repurposed .
Or the old place was burnt down and sam reused the foundation. To make his house. Due to the fact this is the only stone foundations on the island found so far.
if you put a coin in a glass with salt in it so the coin is not visible under the salt and wait like 14 days, you have a clean coin I have tried with a coin 1610 British kid it was made of copper!
It’s unwatchable anymore
700 hundred clues that lead to the money pit but no treasure in sight. If the money pit is empty they can always say Samuel Ball found it and spent it all while living in a shack on Oak Island. He spent thousands of pounds of gold treasure while he grew cabbage to sell to the British navy!
Samuel Ball funded the Underground Railroad!!
A button from a jacket sounds to me like a scuffle happened at that place
AN OFFCIERS BUTTON??? COVERED IN GOLLDDDD !!! did rick and his team just find the missing button to balls navy officers pajamas butt flap!
rick picks up a dirty old napkin " this is a absolutely stunning napkin its exquisite actually"
What if, Ball and Anderson became close friends, and Ball was told of some treasure he buried, that Ball was welcome too?
Alex's hair is getting a little grey here and there
I have a secret about the place
I'm waiting for season 9. Watched season 1 all the way to season 8 like 4 times. So very interesting.
Does the stone strucksures remind you of anything?I think Templar!
It amazes me that slaves did all this digging and burying and today's equipment GPS ground radar can't find nothing more than a button or some change
How about setting off a small nuclear bomb on Oak Island and we could finally discover the answer and end this big yawn.
The Curse of the Island is "People will not stop looking treasure on the Island and spend all their treasure for nothing". 😏
Yeah, I know, I know… it's a "top pocket find!" …but, you've got me hooked! I watch. …and folks laugh at me, but, I still love the boys from Michigan! Love, as always, from Lapeer County, Michigan!
Back in those days if you served the Americans navy or British Army, the generals or a higher ranked militia will show up at your home giving you a well respected for services for your country. And he show up for gratitude for the Royal family
Samuel Ball's wealth isn't that mysterious. The British probably came and asked him for information about the areas he knew in the American territory, maps etc and paid him well for it. He then used that money to invest in his farming business, and probably sold his produce to the British Army & Navy too. Not that he found some treasure.
Even if nothing is found by these
brothers in terms of gold (or alot of it)
They in the end will not only be part of
history but they indeed made History !

Everybody's losing buttons on oak Island
All of these people are jokers, especially the British guy… Pretend experts. The presence of a British, naval officer button, or even his jacket, does not provide any evidence that the jacket was being worn by an officer visiting the island… people can find or buy a button or jacket and bring it with them to the island without bringing said officer… Way too much conjecture in this series by wannabee experts to be a believable series.
I'm getting kind of tired of all the people that complain about the show and say nothing ever happens. And yet keep coming back to the show.
You people are the worst.
Is a bootun the Same as a button?
Wouldn't it be the slave owner
Great Reality TV Program.
