EV transmissions have 1 gear called GO
Nothing about a electric care is green. The necessary rare earth minerals it’s takes to even operate these cars are mined in toxic environments and cause major pollution and are also mined by children in countries throughout the world. Please read up on these vehicles it also takes coal burning plants in many parts of the world to make electricity. People need to get smart.
Charging your car like your phone seems way more convenient then going to a pump.
Thank you.
It works with Electricity ⚡️…..
I just save you 4.22 minutes of your life… that will be $1 💵 🫠
The biggest issue with EV cars is the battery. It's the most expensive component to manufacture AND it's the one that wears the fastest. While EVs themselves don't generare harmful emissions, the power which charges your battery most likely comes from powerplants that do generate emissions. Also, as far as I'm aware, you cannot really recycle the battery when it comes time to change it. All in all, while I absolutely love EVs, they have a long way to go before they can truly be considered green.
We need many, many more of the newer, safe small nuclear reactors. As is these electric cars are fueled by coal and oil to a large extent.
First there is a 11 year old mining cobalt to make your battery. Then it cost $1.50 a hour to charge for a 150 mile range. At this rate it will take a month to drive across the US.
The biggest issues with electric vehicles is the one fact and that’s they are NOT ready for prime time and are being rushed to market BEFORE they are ready !
Cool. Ey. 👏🏼
Why are EV's still designed to look like combustion cars? If the motors are distributed, then what's under the hood?
Thank you. You have taught me the insights of an EV.
How much loss do you get transferring from AC to DC back to AC? Seems kinda like a waste. Can you get the same performance from a DC motor? Or have the ability to store AC power?
Hilarious! CNET must of MADE this idiot to put out a new video to tell the Facts about EV’s since there were so many people calling him out on his previous BS anti ev videos. I don’t know why they don’t just get rid of this ev hating, false rumor spreading moron.
why is it difficult for mechanics to operate on EVs?
There are a lot of reasons why ev's will never work in YouTube comments. I've had 2 used 2015 EVs for 3 1/2 years. Much less maintenance, save a lot of money on gas, fun to drive & I'm not embarrassed to say it's better for the air, more gas for everyone else.
I prefer hydrogen cell
we have to admit although ev price are almost double gasoline cars but they are still game changer
EVs are not ready period.
Hey, I'm excited to try the Neuralink chip in my mind Try the chip Don't miss out I'm 100% sure Neuralink will work I'm 100% sure it will work in humans Don't miss out Try the chip🤍
I own an EV and I thought this was great, I learned a few things. Thanks Brian!
It's a giant RC car
As modern as they are I prefer normal cars any day. The feeling of driving a manual transmission and to be able to hear the engine when you rev is irreplaceable to me.
The wisest thing that should be on everyone's mind currently should be to invest in different streams of income that doesn't depend on the govt. Especially with the current economic crisis around the world. This is still a good time to invest in Gold, Silver and digital currencies (BTC,ETH…)
Y’all got change this logo lolol. I thought it was video from 15 yrs ago or something
Took Tesla on road trip, missed my little mazda the whole time. No thanks on the ev, I thank god for gas. The hipsters love that e.
Brian still one of the best here on CNET.
Just what I was looking for, for my 6-8 age group Lego League class! Informative and concise, thank you!
