iPhone users get 12 filters to flag spam messages with iOS 16

Apple says a new fea­ture in iOS 16 will allow Indi­an iPhone own­ers to dis­tin­guish between spam and help­ful texts. Apple has added 12 addi­tion­al fil­ters for spam mes­sages to its SMS fil­ters. This update is spe­cial­ly made for iPhone users in India.

Accord­ing to the report, there will be 12 sub­cat­e­gories, includ­ing cred­it or deb­it cards, bill pay­ment, mon­ey, gov­ern­ment ser­vices, net­work providers, health­care, and online orders. Addi­tion­al­ly, iPhone users can quick­ly and eas­i­ly add movie or train tick­ets from their Mes­sages to their Apple Wal­let accounts or cal­en­dars.
