Dur­ing an inter­view with Pren­sa Esce­nario, the Gorr the God Butch­er actor men­tioned work­ing with both estab­lished stars. in the Avengers: Infin­i­ty War, Din­klage played Eitri and Thor fans will know Gold­blum from his time as The Grand­mas­ter dur­ing the pre­vi­ous solo out­ing. All this com­men­tary from Bale will do is cap­ture fans’ imag­i­na­tions as to what could pos­si­bly have been left out of this film. With just a week to go until release, spec­u­la­tion is mount­ing as to what Thor Odin­son will encounter in his adven­tures with The Guardians of the Galaxy. Fans were promised a tru­ly ter­ri­fy­ing vil­lain in Gorr, and it looks like the man behind the white make­up has done it even more fright­en­ing bits unsuit­able for younger audiences.

“I’ve worked with Peter Din­klage, it’s not in the fin­ished film but he’s fan­tas­tic,” said Bale. “I’ve worked with Jeff Gold­blum, he’s not in the fin­ished film either. As you can see, a lot of stuff ends up on the cut­ting room floor, even though it’s beau­ti­ful, bril­liant stuff.”

Many peo­ple have com­pared Bale’s per­for­mance to his friend Heath Ledger’s per­for­mance as the Jok­er The dark knight. While he would­n’t list it as a com­plete inspi­ra­tion, he’s flat­tered by the com­par­i­son. He told Comicbook.com, “There’s inspi­ra­tion in so many places that you might not even real­ize you’re get­ting inspi­ra­tion, but very direct­ly, you know, I looked at Nos­fer­atu and I looked at Aphex Twin, ‘Come to Dad­dy ‘. music video which is a favorite of mine and Taika.”

The film has a syn­op­sis from Mar­vel Stu­dios: “The film finds Thor (Chris Hemsworth) on a jour­ney unlike any he has ever known — a quest for inner peace. But his retreat is threat­ened by a galac­tic assas­sin named Gorr the God Butch­er (Chris­t­ian Bale), who seeks the anni­hi­la­tion of the gods. To com­bat the threat, Thor enlists the help of King Valkyrie (Tes­sa Thomp­son), Korg (Tai­ka Wait­i­ti) and his ex-girl­friend Jane Fos­ter (Natal­ie Port­man), who — to Thor’s sur­prise — inex­plic­a­bly wields his mag­i­cal ham­mer Mjol­nir as the mighty Thor . Togeth­er they embark on a har­row­ing cos­mic adven­ture to uncov­er the secret of the god­slay­er’s vengeance and stop him before it’s too late.”
