Rangbaaz — Darr Ki Rajneeti Teaser OFF, This Season Looks Deadlier — Watch

After the phe­nom­e­nal suc­cess of the first two sea­sons of its mar­quee gang­ster dra­ma “Rang­baaz”, ZEE5 has announced anoth­er sea­son of the hit series. ‘Rang­baaz — Darr Ki Rajneeti’, writ­ten by Sid­dharth Mishra, direct­ed by Sachin Pathak and pro­duced by JAR Pic­tures, will star Vineet Kumar Singh and Aakank­sha Singh. The show is direct­ed by Navdeep Singh, who cred­its NH10 and Manora­ma Six Feet Under to his direc­to­r­i­al credits.

This sea­son revolves around Vineet’s char­ac­ter Haroon Shah Ali Baig (aka Saheb) and charts his rise from a small town in Bihar to one of its most pow­er­ful strong­men. As he grows in pow­er and mon­ey through his exploits, he also pools his resources to help the peo­ple. His image as a Robin Hood-type char­ac­ter begins to solid­i­fy and he begins to feel accept­ed and val­i­dat­ed. But is he con­fus­ing fear with respect? This rise and sub­se­quent fall of Saheb reflects his jour­ney from a form­less ide­al­ism to manip­u­la­tive cynicism.

The 6‑part series also stars Gee­tan­jali Kulka­rni, Sud­han­va Desh­pande, Ashok Pathak, Soham Majum­dar, Prashant Narayanan and oth­ers in key roles.
