Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor star in a family drama Jug Jugg Jeeyo finds a good response from the cinema-goers on its second Saturday. The film has done better business than this week’s releases, Rashtra Kavach Om and Rocketry: The Nambi Effect.
According to a report by Box Office India, JugJugg Jeeyo earned around Rs 4.75 billion on Saturday, up over 70 percent from his second Friday. Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the film’s box office collection from the three major multiplex chains INOX, PVR and Cinepolis. Taran Adarsh shared that it is a large collection of Aditya Roy Kapur’s action drama Rashtra Kavach Om comes from single-screen cinemas. The film failed to draw audiences into the multiplexes. Speaking of Rocketry’s box office, film producer and trade analyst Girish Johar had previously told indianexpress.com, “For the Hindi belt, it’s going to be more reliant on word of mouth and it should be decent to begin with.”
Meanwhile, JugJugg Jeeyo is attracting family audiences. Although it has received mixed reactions from film critics, Raj Mehta’s direction has received a thumbs-up from audiences.
