New Delhi: China-based smartphone maker OnePlus is gearing up to launch the OnePlus 10T globally on August 3rd. OnePlus has published detailed information about the upcoming smartphone on the microblogging site Twitter. The smartphone maker tweeted: “Incredible things are happening in incredible places. Don’t miss your chance to catch the unveiling of the OnePlus 10T in August.” The company has also confirmed that India will premiere the smartphone launch in Bengaluru.
Even after the launch, customers have to wait until they can get their hands on a device. OnePlus has confirmed several key specs and unveiled the phone’s design, but leaks are also pouring in. Specifications of OnePlus 10T
OnePlus has already confirmed that the OnePlus 10T will not have an Alert slider and Hussleblad cameras. The device is expected to run on Android 12. Customers have the option to upgrade to OxygenOS 13, which works on Android 13. The smartphone features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. As for the cameras, it comes with a 50 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultra wide-angle camera and a 2 MP portrait camera, as well as a 16 MP selfie camera. OnePlus 10T packs a 4800mAh battery that supports 150W fast charging. The smartphone features a 6.7‑inch Full HD AMOLED display that supports HDR10 with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone will consist of two variants — 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB. The company has already confirmed OnePlus’ famous Alert Slider, which users have come to expect from all OnePlus devices. Analysts claimed the reason the OnePlus 10T won’t get the famous Alert Slider is to maintain a slim profile and allow for fast charging. The starting price of the upcoming phone is expected to be Rs 49,999.
