A Delhi court on Tuesday granted actress Jacqueline Fernandez bail of Rs 200 crore in a money laundering case. Fernandez was accused of enjoying the proceeds of a crime involving the scammer Sukesh Chandrashekhar had allegedly extorted Rs 200 crore from Aditi Singh, wife of former Fortis Healthcare promoter Shivinder Singh.
The father of Shraddha Walkar, the 27-year-old woman who was killed by her household partner Aaftab Poonawala, said: “If Aaftab Poonawala did everything he claimed during interrogation, he must be hanged. I think he deserves severe punishment for killing my daughter and hiding it all for months. I wish we knew what’s going on.” Police took Poonawala to Mehrauli Forest on Tuesday where he allegedly dumped parts of Walkar’s body. The police have yet to secure the murder weapon, a saw. Delhi police said they would question Poonawaala’s friends and relatives in connection with the killing. “We’re also looking for mutual friends and those who last spoke to Walkar,” an official said.
Police sources have revealed chilling details about the Walkar’s murder from her partner Poonwala in a rented apartment in Delhi.
