Yep, it was done before, so was internet payments, first done in the 1970’s, but his PayPal sure is doing well. So was electric cars, first done in 1904, but his Tesla cars sure are doing well. So was rockets, first done in the 1930’s, but his SpaceX sure is doing well. No doubt his robots and Neuralink will do well also.
I would love if it eventually can simulate stuff directly in your brain (called full dive VR). I want to experience all kinds of cool virtual worlds (for example being a super handsome king that can sleep with any woman I want, or being a dragon, or an astronaut or being a tiger.)
It would also be able to cure depression, improve cognitive ability and help with lots of other diseases like (parkinsons etc).

A more important endeavour would be to reverse biological aging. I would love to be 500 years old with the energy, health and looks of a 25 year old. That would also buy enough time to fix all the other problems we have.
It is such a waste that we study and improve all our lives only for it to all go away with aging. Imagine if Einstein kept on living and discovering!
The profitability would be immense, because most people will be willing to pay all their money for more time and health (Our most valuable things). It would also save countries trillions in healthcare costs (because old people generally are the sick ones needing the most treatments). Elon Musk should call up David Sinclair and Aubrey De Grey to get into the anti-aging space.
