This Trailer Transforms Into a Mobile Solar Power Plant
Sesame Solar’s mobile nanogrids generate power from the sun to provide energy to displaced residents and emergency crews after natural disasters.

this video is all over the place, the clickbait title says its about a solar grid, but then it turns into some all in one emergency response unit.. the solar aspect is marginal at best maybe 1600 watts total in perfect lighting condiitons, this thing needs to be fully topped up before deployment
I’can’t wait to charge my coffee maker.
This concept is not new. For the last 10 years farmers have used similar systems in Pakistan to power tube wells. Foldable solar panels are deployed on trailers which the farmer moves to the tube well when he needs to run it. Why moveable trailer based. Well because to stop getting the panels stolen.
What a great idea!
That unit looks mighty expensive. It’s only really good when the sun is directly above it or if you lay it on its side lol. Clickbait at best and crap at worst.
Good Idea but Batteries are much better
Kind of funny how wine is a massive part of the US economy. Basically saying “yeah, the US is basically full of a bunch of functioning alcoholics”
Would be interesting to know in the span of a year what the total use of the hydrogen backup. My guess, residual and could be avoided by using more battery capacity for less capital.
When it isn’t needed for an emergency, offer free power to low income communities.
Cost creates limitations. We need assembly lines to bring cost down.
actually first is shelter, not power
Cost is still a huge issue and is where gas, diesel, and others still shine. They also work without sun. When will someone start mass-producing panels at low costs?
“Wine can’t be made without power“
