Is this a successor to the the PS Vita
Is it 2012?? Why did they make a WiU Gamepad?? Who would want this LOL.
In the video the guy says both of Sony handheld “failed to make huge waves in the industry” what I don’t understand why everybody try to Mark the PSP off as a failure? It sold over 80 million units anything that sells over 80 million units can’t be considered a failure

Not many people understand what the Device is used for but I do instead of using an apple phone you can use this it’s supposed to be user friendly and not a lot peaple have a phone or set up a playstation account in the future I hope it will reep good upgrades.
Who are they trying to sell this to? This product is way too late for the handheld scene, and considering they ditched the vita…why would I ever back another sony handheld?

Vita failed due to sony’s own greed. A 64 gig card cannot cost almost the same as the system. Sony always does this make a promising device then kills it with some ridiculous cost. Let me guess probably some proprietary add on that makes the price ridiculous. Any one remember when Apple beat Sony the original creators of the Walkman in the music streaming device and Sony later came out with 1300 dollar digital Walkman? Even the 3D pulse headphones has a dongle. Anyone remember the 24 inch Sony hd tVs that came with glasses? It allowed you to play a 2 player game and instead of a split screen each person could see the screen from their own point of view or the vita TV all dead.
Sony took a long look at the wii U and said YES ! ! WE CAN TAKE THAT IDEA AND FAIL JUST LIKE NINTENDO DID !

This has fewer features than the PSP and the Vita. Cash grab.
This is going to fail. Why would you buy this when you can buy a Steam Deck and play most of the exclusives without Wi-Fi?

It should have been a new PS vita, streaming could be done into your smartphone, tab, laptop or tv. You just need a ps controller. There is no need for a new device to stream games.

What’s the point in this a streaming device what’s the point when you will need to have your PS5 on anyways so you might as well have the tv on and lay that way. At least with the switch you can play any game anywhere and don’t need to stream a game
It’s sad but this thing is like perfect for what I need, I hate the remote play on the iPad/phone experience.

To be honest I would actually play my PS5 with something like this. I know remote play on pc or tablet is an option, but this would feel like a more authentic handheld experience. I can have football on the TV then play my PS5 chillin on the couch.
@1:42 “this means you won’t be able to take it on the go” This statement sounds misleading especially when followed up with broadband speeds needed to use remote play on the device. Seems like a cellular version of the project with 5G built in would make a nice on the go device similar to the Logitech G Cloud. Even without a cellular option, I’m not seeing anything that states it needs to be on the same network as the PS5 to use the remote play feature. If this does require the same network to function than I agree with common criticism and unless sold at a lose to Sony, likely wont do well. If you can bring this to your friends house or your divorced parents house and still have access to your PS5 library, there is a small market for it at the right price.

This design is clumsy and not as all scalable as what the good old nintendo switch is. Nintendo managed to nail so many use cases with their design! You can use it as a regular handheld console just like this render. Ok not the best graphics and performance blabla. But wait, you can detach the controllers for 2 players on the go if you want. Wait what? This doesnt offer any sort of scalability as nintendo. They really hit the nail with their design! Are we going to see these tech giants copying the switch?

One of the most pathetic and underwhelming reveals I’ve ever seen. You can literally just bluetooth pair your DS5 with your iPad using PS Remote Play and not only have a better playing experience, but have a larger display as well

It won’t work like the Xbox cloud. You gotta be on the same network in the house. Kinda lame. Might as well keep the backbone or pair a pscontroller to a tablet and save the cash. Looks neat though. 😊
