I pay about 300 for my insignia 120 white screen and looks per­fect on my room the­ater. 1500 is a waste of mon­ey for that in my opinion

Ultra short throw is a pro­jec­tor type, not a ‘tech­nol­o­gy’ of the screen. You mean it’s designed for UST projection

I have one of these grey pro­jec­tor screens for my ultra short throw. Works good. Still best with the lights off. The screen is made of rows of lit­tle tri­an­gles like /| /| /| and it’s ultra short throw so the pro­jec­tor is near ground lev­el and bounces off that “mir­ror” into your eyes. And the flat part is where ambi­ent light­ing comes from- above, so it gets blocked. (You could mount the ultra short throw on the ceil­ing but you would lose the ben­e­fit of the tri­an­gles.. unless you have light com­ing from the floor?? lol)
