Can a redesign save Apple’s software? | The Vergecast
gadgets,tech gadgets,technology,verge,the verge,tech,tech news,apple,google,podcast,vergecast
It’s a slowish news week ahead of some very busy news weeks, so of course Nilay and David start the show with a long discussion about party speakers. Eventually, they get into the news, beginning with some of the huge Apple redesigns planned for WWDC in June. For the first time in a long time, the stakes for Apple’s software teams feel really high. After that, the hosts talk about Nilay’s recent interview with Google CEO Sundar Pichai, and what the AI-ification of everything means for the future of the web. Finally, in the lightning round, it’s time for another Brendan Carr is a Dummy, plus some talk about the Nintendo Switch 2, a bit of confusing tariff news, and more. #Vergecast #Podcast #Technology

Some people gamble on hype — I prefer projects like Alaxio that are actually building.

These are the coins that later show up on top gainer lists — Alaxio is ahead of that curve.
Make a list of 5 projects to hold into next year. Alaxio should be on it.

I trust data — and everything about Alaxio’s launch data looks strong.
Don’t be the person wishing you bought ALX at presale prices.
Buy the silence, sell the noise — that’s why I’m bullish on Alaxio now.
AI x Crypto is not a meme anymore — Alaxio proves it with real tools and value.

Projects like this are why presale access matters so much.

With the way the market is heating up, Alaxio could break out faster than expected.

Token price now won’t even make sense by the time Q4 hits. Accumulate ALX early.

Can’t believe how quiet this presale is for how much is being built.
I’ve studied dozens of presales. Alaxio is one of the most legit setups I’ve seen this year.

AI kills the app layer
I think Apple intelligence is a big fluke, especially the fact that it does not supported on not that old devices like the Watch Ultra 2 and the iPhone 14 pro
“How did you go bankrupt?”
“Two ways. Gradually, then suddenly.”
I think the lack of development for Vision Pro speaks to the lack of trust in the developer community. Sure, it’s too heavy, and pricey, but new categories are often like that. The platform itself is remarkable, yet I don’t blame developers for being cautious, wanting to avoid being further captive to a store that takes too big a cut.
Hoping Apple gets slapped with a class action for having Snoop lie to us about an intelligence that was aspirational and imaginary.
Love the party speaker talk, Pallet cleanser right at the beginning 🤣 I love listening to y’all to understand the current state of tech and tech companies, And I really appreciate that I have like 20 reasons to trust the coverage
I didn’t know the giant party speakers existed until I started working at Best Buy. You can hear the demos playing from the closed break room on the opposite side of the store.
Pee-my-pants-lol! 🔊
