It should be not­ed that Shah Rukh will break his four-year film hia­tus with his first project in 2023 — Pathaan. He was last seen in 2018’s Aanand L Rai’s direc­to­r­i­al work Zero along­side Kat­ri­na Kaif and Anush­ka Shar­ma. He will be star­ring along­side the new­ly­wed Nayan­thara in ‘Jawan’ direct­ed by Atlee Kumar. SRK will also star in YRF’s Pathaan, star­ring Deepi­ka Padukone and John Abra­ham, and Rajku­mar Hirani’s immi­gra­tion dra­ma Dun­ki, star­ring Taapsee Pannu.

He hint­ed that Salman Khan could be part of a song in Pathaan, which also stars Deepi­ka Padukone, John Abra­ham and Ashutosh Rana, among oth­ers. “There is no work expe­ri­ence at Salman Khan. There is only love expe­ri­ence, hap­py expe­ri­ence, friend­ship expe­ri­ence and broth­er­ly expe­ri­ence. So it’s amaz­ing when­ev­er I get to work with him,” said Shah Rukh Khan when a fan asked about his expe­ri­ence work­ing with the actor.

He con­tin­ued, “We haven’t done a full-fledged film togeth­er, apart from ‘Karan Arjun’, which was­n’t full-fledged either because we weren’t in it togeth­er for too long. So some­times we have to work four to five days in a year. The last two years have been fan­tas­tic being able to act in one of his films. I had a role with Kabir Khan for a few days. And he came on ‘Zero’ and did a song with me ‘Pathaan’. I don’t know if that’s a secret, but inshal­lah I’ll try it in ‘Tiger 3’ too. So it’s great fun to work with him.”
