Adivi Sesh main actor “Major” is getting an OTT release soon, details inside

After being in the­aters for a while, Adi­vi Sesh star “Major” has now gone to OTT. The film, which revolves around Major Sandeep Unnikr­ish­nan, who lost his life fight­ing ter­ror­ists in the 2008 Mum­bai attacks, is sched­uled to stream on Net­flix from July 3.

Shar­ing the update, Adi­vi wrote on Insta­gram: “Extreme­ly blessed. Mil­lions of peo­ple have seen #Major in the­aters, now #MajorThe­Film is com­ing to @NetflixIndia on JULY 3rd. you know the man Now you know his story.”

Direct­ed by Sashi Karan Tik­ka, Major also stars Sob­hi­ta Dhuli­pala, Saiee Man­jrekar, Prakash Raj, Revathi and Murli Sharma.

About the film, Adi­vi said, “Major” is not a film to be viewed as a film, it is an emo­tion, it is the best work of my life. It is the life sto­ry of Major Sandeep Unnikr­ish­nan and we received this medal from the Nation­al Secu­ri­ty Guard in recog­ni­tion of what we have accomplished.

Major, fund­ed by Sony Pic­tures Inter­na­tion­al Pro­duc­tions, GMB Enter­tain­ment Pvt Lim­it­ed and A+S Movies, was released in Tel­ugu, Hin­di and Malay­alam on June 3rd.

In the film, Adi­vi plays the role of Major Sandeep Unnikr­ish­nan, who sac­ri­ficed his life while fight­ing ter­ror­ists at the Taj Mahal Hotel and res­cued 14 hostages.
